Privacy Policy — Browser Extension

The MonSimulateur browser extension is published by RIANN SAS. It helps you analyse a property's profitability from the listing you are viewing. This policy covers the extension specifically; the website has its own privacy policy.

2.1 Reading the listing (at your initiative). When you open a listing on one of the supported sites, the extension reads the public property data displayed: price, floor area, number of rooms and bedrooms, city, postcode, EPC/GHG rating, property type, number of photos and a short description excerpt. Any emails and phone numbers present are redacted locally before any transmission. The badge display is passive: this data is only sent if you click "Analyse this listing".

2.2 Account and authentication. If you sign in: your email address, a device identifier (a UUID generated locally) and the extension version. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device.

2.3 Technical logs (security). To prevent abuse: a hashed IP (HMAC, non-reversible), a hash of the user-agent, the domain (not the full URL) and the timestamp.

2.4 Aggregated quality statistics. We may use aggregated, non-identifying statistics (e.g. extraction success rate per site, never per user) to maintain and improve the quality of the extension. They are neither sold nor shared.

• Your browsing history (only the tab's domain at the moment of analysis).
• Your geolocation.
• Your payment information (handled by our provider).
• Health data, personal communications or sensitive categories.
• No analytics or behavioural tracking tools (no PostHog, no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel).
• No data sold or transferred to data brokers / advertising.

• Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)) for pre-filling and estimation.
• Performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b)) for managing your account.
• Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)) for security audit logs.

Data is hosted on Supabase, Europe region (Zurich, Switzerland — AWS eu-central-2). Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensuring a level of protection equivalent to the GDPR. No transfer to a third country for unrelated purposes.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can sign out and erase local data at any time from the extension's settings. To exercise your rights: dpo@monsimulateurimmobilier.fr.

The extension requests the minimum necessary: activeTab, tabs, storage, identity, alarms, sidePanel, and access to the 14 supported real estate sites only (never the whole web). No scripting permission and no <all_urls>.
